There is a regular train service from Dublin to Sligo. A bus connection is available to the property. The locality is one of the most scenic in the North West of Ireland with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and of Irelands table top mountain, Benbulben from the property.
The property is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful countryside or seaside village of Mullaghmore which is a hive of water based activities in the summer; the surfing at streedagh, sightseeing at the waterfall in Glencar. There are also horse riding facilities available within a five minute walk.
